...Carolina Hurricanes Booster Club Membership Information...

In 1997, the National Hockey League brought the Carolina Hurricanes and hockey to North Carolina. Upon the arrival of the team, the Carolina Hurricanes Booster Club (CHBC) was formed. The CHBC is the official NHL booster club of the Carolina Hurricanes.

Our goal is to support the Carolina Hurricanes Hockey organization, and promote hockey throughout the Carolinas. These goals are reached by volunteering and assisting the organization as needed, raising funds for non-profit charities, helping local youth hockey programs with sponsorships, and promoting the sport of hockey throughtout the community.

Die-hard hockey fans… Hurricanes fans who want to meet other Hurricanes fans…Out-of-town fans who want to keep up with the Hurricanes…WHY NOT YOU?

Why should I join?

• 5% discount at The Eye stores (in addition to any ticket holder discounts)
• First chance to participate in any Hurricanes road trips planned to various NHL cities.
• Receive exclusive membership badge, and lapel pin.
• Attend monthly meetings with guest speakers including Hurricanes players, coaches, management, and staff.
• Support various fund-raising events during the year

Some of the regular activities include:

• Periodic socials like a holiday party and an All-Star Game or Olympic party
• Local sporting events, such as Durham Bulls and Carolina Mudcats games
• Opportunities to participate in road trips to Canes away games
• CHBC Storm Shelters (away-game get-togethers) held at various sites throughout the Triangle area
• Volunteer opportunities at Caniac Carnival, Skate with the Canes, UNC-TV Telethon, game-day handouts
  

How do I join?

• Memberships are based on the NHL season.
• Dues cover membership through June 30 with a grace period to renew until September 30.
• Complete the membership application.   (click here for 2009-2010 membership form)
• Print the form and fill it out completely. 
• Make your check or money order payable to: "Carolina Hurricanes Booster Club, Inc."
• Bring your application to the Booster Club table in the RBC Center at home games during the regular
       season or to any regular club meeting, or mail your application and check to:
